Avalon Embroiderers' Guild is a branch of the Embroiderers' Guild.
We meet in Ashcott, between Bridgwater and Glastonbury, on the fourth Saturday of each month (see Workshop Programme and Special Events for more details).
We are a friendly group who welcome all new members and visitors, regardless of your level of experience or areas of interest.
We strive to offer a varied workshop programme, to meet the needs and interests of our members, ranging from traditional hand embroidery through to machine embroidery and textile art.
We have an extensive library of stitching and design books for members to borrow, and we usually have a sales table and a raffle at our monthly meetings.
We hold regular exhibitions. Photos from our most recent exhibition can be found on the Gallery pages. More information on the Special Events and News page.
Our annual subscription for 2016/7 will be £40 payable by 1st September 2016. Membership forms will be given out at the June and July workshops or posted. Payment information is on the renewal form. New membership cards will be distributed at the workshop on 24th September 2016.
For workshop fees see Workshop Programme.
All meetings are held in Ashcott Village Hall, High Street, Ashcott, TA7 9PZ. See How To Find Us for a map.
Members can either take a packed lunch or go to the "Ring O'Bells" for a pub lunch (within walking distance of the hall). Tea and coffee are available all day.
Please contact us for more details , using the form on the "more" tab, or just come along and you will be made most welcome.
